You really can't effectively, the trial version is missing a large chunk of content that comes when you buy PD and obtain the two download links and the SN.

I had the same question...Once I got the activation key I ended up uninstalling the trial version and downloading the full version (2 files...program and content) and installing that with the key.

I had gotten a message in my power director 9 software that I can get a free upgrade to power director 11. I clicked and downloaded it but it requires an activation code? If its free why a code or what is the code? Is my power director 9 code?

I purchased powerdirector 9 from Amazon and when in PD 9 and go to create disc there was an notice for a free upgrade since it was in the pd9 software I assumed it was from cyberlink and not some bogus ad? There are also ads to upgrade to pd13 at a 75 % discount? Are these notices legit or crap ads? Please advise if it is legit? if not I will unload the pd11 since I cannot access it anyway?
